On Jan-07-2026 Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization has officially inaugurated an educational center named Usman Academy in District 7 of Jalalabad City, Nangarhar Province. The academy provides quality education in English language, computer studies, scientific subjects, university entrance exam (Kankor) preparation, and basic literacy.
Usman Academy is equipped with all essential educational facilities, including a modern computer lab, well-organized and clean classrooms, a structured and student-friendly learning environment, and highly qualified, committed, and experienced male and female instructors who have been selected through an open and competitive process. These instructors hold bachelor’s degrees and are fully dedicated to serving our dear compatriots.
The academy was inaugurated by the President of the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization, Mr. Mohammad Sadiq Safi, who assured that Usman Academy will expand its services further in the future. Plans include establishing a fully equipped library, providing internet facilities, and extending similar academies to other areas of Nangarhar Province as well as to other provinces of the country.
Usman Academy is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is fully available to serve students during these hours.
All educational programs at Usman Academy are provided completely free of charge for orphans. In addition, non-orphan students can also enroll and benefit from the academy’s programs with a 50 percent discount.
So far, more than one hundred orphan students have been enrolled, and the enrollment process is ongoing.
