This is not just assistance; rather, it is the beginning of rebuilding a dignified life for a family.

On December 20 of the current year, in Kunar Province, Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization, within the framework of its Qarz-e-Hasana (interest-free loan) program, established five new small businesses for orphans or their direct guardians.

Each business was launched with an investment of approximately 20,000 Afghanis. These five businesses were established in the following sectors:

Soup shop

Electrical appliances

Brokerage (second-hand trading) items

Food items

Tailoring supplies

Through this program, orphans or their guardians will, God willing, earn more than 200 Afghanis in daily profit. According to the program’s terms, each participant is required to repay between 1,000 and 1,500 Afghanis per month to the bank account of Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization, so that the received interest-free loan is gradually reduced to zero.

As a result, the total number of businesses supported under the Qarz-e-Hasana program has now reached 191 orphan families. This program is exclusively designed for orphans or their direct guardians; therefore, we kindly request others not to interfere in this matter.

So far, this program has been implemented in Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Nangarhar, Kunar and Laghman provinces, and the survey process is currently underway in Kunar Province as well.

Dear brothers and sisters,

Let us gradually put an end to the culture of free handouts and revive the culture of self-reliance, income generation, and work.

Thank you Dear respected Brother Fazli Sahib.👏

We sincerely thank all our financial supporters and volunteer partners for their tireless efforts and for standing by us in implementing this program. May Almighty God bless their wealth, lives, and children.
