On September 11th, a new educational center for over 300 girls was inaugurated in Kotu village, Deh Sabz district, Kabul province.

The foundation stone for this center was laid in a joyous atmosphere by Mr. Mohammad Sadiq Safi, the head of the Orphan Care, along with tribal elders, religious scholars, and other associates, with prayers from the esteemed scholars.

Previously, girls in this area had a strong interest in education but lacked a proper place to study, often holding classes in a small room. With the construction of this center, their issue will be resolved, and they will eagerly continue their studies. The Orphan Care will not only provide a suitable space but will also offer ongoing educational materials and supervision.

Before the construction began, a comprehensive meeting was held with the villagers, and a four-member committee was appointed to ensure transparency. A local villager, Mr. Abdul Qadeem, donated a piece of land measuring 20 meters wide and 24 meters long for the center, and he provided a legal deed. This deed was signed by all the attendees, confirming that the center belongs to the village and will not be monopolized by anyone. The four-member committee will closely monitor the progress and financial matters of the center. The villagers will take turns working on the construction, organized by the committee, and the remaining costs will be covered by our esteemed brother, Mr. Abdul Faheem (Khayrkhah). May Almighty Allah bless his wealth, children, and life.

Further details will be shared soon.
