Kabul, December 22, 2023 – On a charitable mission to alleviate the struggles of the underprivileged, Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization (OCAWO) distributed essential food supplies to 70 families in need across various regions of Kabul on Friday.
The distribution, which took place on the 22nd of December, aimed to extend a helping hand to vulnerable orphaned and needy families who had been previously identified through surveys conducted by OCAWO. Each family received a generous package, including a 24 KG bag of Sela rice and a 5-liter bottle of cooking oil.
The total value of the distributed assistance reached 156,240 Afghanis, providing substantial relief to those facing economic hardships in the community. The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude, with smiles on their faces and heartfelt prayers for the generous donors who made this initiative possible.
Encouraging a spirit of solidarity and support, OCAWO urges our brothers and sisters to contribute to this noble cause by sending their donations to the organization. Emphasizing a commitment to ensuring that every penny goes toward helping those in need, OCAWO assured that donated supplies would be delivered to vulnerable families without any additional cost.
In these challenging times, OCAWO continues to serve as a beacon of hope, fostering a sense of community and compassion to make a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
