Launch of the National Tree Plantation Program for a Greener Environment and Orchards for Orphans!

📜 Hadith:
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
“Any Muslim who plants a tree, and a human or an animal eats from it, it will be counted as charity for them.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 6012)

The Orphan Care Afghanistan of is honored to launch the National Tree Plantation Program and the Orchard Creation Initiative for orphan families. This program commenced in Nangarhar province, Chaparhar district, with an opening ceremony held at Kandi Bagh School. The event was attended by Mohammad Sadiq Safi, President of the Orphan Care Afghanistan, Ajmal Subhani, Representative of the Nangarhar Agriculture Department, as well as tribal elders who expressed their support for this valuable initiative.

🔹 Main objectives of this program:
Establishing 48 fruit orchards for orphan families, enabling them to benefit from the harvest and generate a sustainable income.
Planting 3,430 trees in these orchards, along with 980 trees in five public spaces such as schools, mosques, and urban areas to reduce air pollution and create a healthier environment.

In the coming days, this initiative will expand to other districts of Nangarhar, bringing more orchards to orphan families. The Orphan Care Afghanistan of ensures that all donations are used directly for purchasing trees and establishing orchards for orphans, with no additional administrative costs.
