Emergency relief

In the past year, 7,047,113 Afghanis were spent on Emergency Relief for our fellow citizens. Below are the details:

  1. Earthquake Victims in Herat Province:
    • 40 families, including orphans and individuals with disabilities, were supported.
    • A total of 3,062,673 Afghanis was transferred via banks to these families over the year.
  2. Returnees from Neighboring Countries:
    • 26 families were surveyed and provided with bank accounts.
    • For 8 months, they received regular bank transfers, amounting to 1,149,750 Afghanis.
  3. Flood Victims in Baghlan Province (May):
    • 61 families received 20,000 Afghanis each.
    • A total of 1,223,000 Afghanis was distributed to these families.
  4. Ramadan Aid:
    • 128 families, totaling 3,359 individuals, received food supplies for Iftar.
    • This program cost 1,102,840 Afghanis.
  5. Winter Heating Supplies:
    • In January, 16 families received heating fuel worth 40,000 Afghanis.
    • In December, 198,000 Afghanis were spent on heating supplies for 40 orphan families.
  6. Miscellaneous Emergency Aid:
    • A total of 179,150 Afghanis was distributed for various needs.
