Since the tragic earthquake in Kunar Province, all Muslims, especially Afghans, have been mourning. These are trials from Allah Almighty, and in such difficult times, believers must remain patient and obedient to His commands.
Alhamdulillah, the spirit of Islam and humanity that always rises to support the victims is once again shining in Kunar. In these painful moments, Afghans from all provinces stand together like true brothers. From Badakhshan to Panjshir, from Herat to Nangarhar, people have shown solidarity and extended their support to the victims of Kunar’s earthquake. This is a beautiful example of Afghan unity and brotherhood.
The dedicated survey team of the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization has successfully completed a thorough and organized survey in Kunar Province. During the survey in the severely affected villages of Wodiro, Sohail Tangi, Jabgi, Ghazi Abad, Shumash, and Aret of Nurgal District, accurate data was collected. As a result, 50 orphan families without guardians have been identified as eligible for immediate assistance.
In line with our commitment, the charity will provide these families with bank cards through Azizi Bank. Each family will receive a monthly allowance of 100 USD. This first phase will continue for four months, during which a total of 20,000 USD will be delivered directly to these 50 families.
If any brothers or sisters wish to take part in this transparent process and ensure their donations reach the orphan families 100% without any administrative costs, we are ready to expand the number of families and extend the support period.
We sincerely thank all our donors. May Allah bless your wealth, children, and lives with abundance.
Your contribution can become the reason a family survives.
It is worth mentioning that about two months ago, in cooperation with the Ministries of Economy and Agriculture, we launched an important project in Nurgal District of Kunar Province. The purpose of this project was to provide dairy cows to orphan families who have the proper facilities for keeping them and access to a local milk market.
Alhamdulillah, this program has now reached its final stage, and very soon 15 orphan families in Kunar Province will each receive a dairy cow. This initiative will not only cover their nutritional needs but also help them generate income through the sale of milk, thereby addressing their long-term economic challenges.
If any brothers or sisters wish to contribute to this project, your support will be delivered 100% without any administrative costs directly to the families in need. The cost of one dairy cow is around 750 USD, and with this support, the livelihood challenges of an orphan family can be effectively resolved.
If more donors come forward, we are ready to increase both the number of cows and the number of families benefiting from this program, so that additional orphan households can also be supported.
We sincerely thank all of our generous donors. May Allah bless your wealth, your children, and your lives, and make this noble act a source of success for you in this world and the Hereafter.
