A Center for Religious and Modern Education for Hundreds of Sisters Established and Officially Handed Over in Laghman Province

In the Akhundzadgan village, located in the center of Laghman Province, the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization began construction of a religious and modern education center for women nearly ten months ago. With the full cooperation and support of the local community, the center was completed within the planned timeframe and has now been officially handed over for use.

The educational center has been constructed as a two-story building. The ground floor has been designated as a Dar-ul-Hifz for boys, while the second floor is dedicated exclusively to girls’ education. Solar power, sanitation facilities, and clean water systems have also been provided. The design ensures separate entrances and access routes for boys and girls, guaranteeing that there is no interference with the girls’ educational activities and that local cultural values are fully respected.

The total cost of constructing this center exceeded one million Afghanis. Of this amount, 883,000 Afghanis were contributed by the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization, while 128,420 Afghanis were generously donated by members of the local community. In total, the center was built at a cost of 1,011,420 Afghanis and has been officially handed over for utilization.

From the total contribution made by the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization, 683,000 Afghanis were donated in the initial phase by the respected Abdul Fahim Khairkhwa Sahib, and the remaining 200,000 Afghanis were generously contributed in the final phase by Ahmed Halilovic, the son of Sister Nadzija. May Allah Almighty accept all these contributions as Sadaqah Jariyah.

The Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization sincerely thanks all donors and assures them that every amount donated is spent 100 percent, without any administrative deductions, directly on the intended charitable and educational purposes. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our honorable and dedicated volunteer partners who made tireless efforts throughout the construction and completion of this project.

Insha’Allah, this center will serve as a foundation for knowledge, awareness, and a brighter future for hundreds of sisters in the region.
