In the first phase, Orphan Care gives twenty thousand dollars to whom in Kunar?
Alhamdulillah, we are very pleased that the Orphan Care Welfare Organization has launched an effective program to support the earthquake-affected families in Kunar province.
Our organization does not take even a single afghani from the donors’ contributions for administrative or transportation expenses, nor does it misuse any part of the donations. One hundred percent of your donations are delivered directly to the deserving families according to a systematic plan.
In 2023, during the deadly Herat earthquake, our organization surveyed four orphan families, opened bank accounts for them, and transferred the entire donations directly to those families without any deductions. As a result, these contributions brought a positive change in their lives.
Based on this experience, in Kunar province, in coordination with the Ministry of Economy, 20,000 USD has been registered and an official letter has been obtained.
In the first phase:
* 50 orphan families will be surveyed.
* Bank accounts will be opened for them in Azizi Bank.
* Each family will receive 100 USD per month (equivalent to 6,830 AFN).
* Over four months, a total of 1,366,000 AFN will be transferred to these families.
If brothers and sisters wish to take part in this phase, the number of families and the duration of the program can be increased. This is a great opportunity to ensure that your contribution reaches orphan families 100% without any deductions.
Our organization has an official contract with Azizi Bank, making it easy to open accounts for the surveyed families. Each month, when funds are transferred, bank statements are shared with the donors. All programs are carried out in coordination with the relevant authorities, and official confirmation letters are obtained at the end of each program.
In addition, our team will also survey shopkeepers, small business owners, and others whose businesses have been affected, in order to identify their needs and the level of support required. The figures and costs will be shared with you after the survey.
