OCAWO Empowers Orphan Families with Milking Cows in Wardak Province

In an effort towards enhancing self-sustainability for vulnerable orphan families, the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization (OCAWO) successfully distributed milking cows to 15 households in the outskirts of Wardak main city. The distribution event, coordinated in collaboration with the ministries of Economy, Labor and Social Affairs, and Agriculture, aimed to provide a source of livelihood and support for orphaned individuals.

The distribution ceremony, graced by representatives from key government ministries and community elders, witnessed the allocation of milking cows along with their calves to the deserving orphan families. Commending the initiative, the representatives from the ministries of agriculture and elders of the community expressed their approval, emphasizing the positive impact on the self-sustainability of the orphans.
